I started working with glass in 2018, but my love for all things colorful and sparkly goes back decades. Since I was a little girl, I’ve had an innate need to create. The most consistent outlets of creativity in my life have been drawing and writing, but over the years I’ve tried my hand at painting, sculpture, pottery (wheel-thrown and hand building), jewelry-making and photography.
My work is inspired by nature – by flora and fauna, by moon and stars. My favorite color is cobalt blue, and anything that contrasts it.
In 2020, we moved to a new town and have been busy updating our 1880’s farmhouse (hello, insulation), so my glass creations have been mostly on the back burner. In my work life, I’ve taken on my graphic design work and have been learning the art of video editing as well. There’s always something new to learn, am I right?
